Free: Creating a Need post is free for all students.
1. User creates a Need post for an item.
2. Other students tap increment if they need the same item.
3. Need count keeps increasing as demand grows.

Items with highest Need count appear as High Demand, helping sellers understand what campus wants right now.

  • User Responsibilities: users must ensure accurate postings and avoid illegal/prohibited/harmful items.
  • Platform Role: HOSTELERY STUFF is a facilitator and does not guarantee quality of listed items.
  • No Refunds on Ads: once posted, ad fee is non-refundable.
  • Fees and Charges: ₹10 per post after first free post. Payments are final and non-refundable.
  • Termination of Service: accounts/posts may be removed for policy violations.
  • Governing Law: laws of India apply.
2. Privacy Policy
  • Data Collection: name, contact number, and email for account/communication.
  • Data Usage: used to connect buyers and sellers.
  • Data Security: secure systems are used, but absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
  • Data Sharing: no selling/sharing of data with third parties.
  • User Rights: users can request data deletion/modification.
3. Refunds and Cancellation Policy
  • Ad Post Fee: ₹10 fee is non-refundable once ad is posted.
  • First Free Ad: one free ad per user; later posts are charged.
  • Service Nature: connector platform; no refunds for disputes between users.
4. Pricing Policy
  • All fees are in INR (₹).
  • First ad post is free. Additional posts cost ₹10 each.
  • Prices are final and inclusive of applicable taxes.
5. Shipping Policy
  • No shipping services handled by HOSTELERY STUFF.
  • Buyers and sellers should meet in person to exchange goods.

8. Prohibited Items Policy
  • Drugs, narcotics, and related paraphernalia are strictly prohibited.
  • Alcohol, cigarettes, vapes, and tobacco products are not allowed.
  • Weapons, ammunition, fireworks, explosives, and pepper spray are prohibited.
  • Counterfeit, stolen, or black-market items are prohibited.
  • Prescription medicines, injections, and regulated medical devices are not allowed.
  • Adult/obscene content or sexual products are prohibited.
  • Government IDs, SIM cards, bank accounts, personal data/documents are prohibited.
  • Hacked/pirated software, social media/game accounts, and illegal digital goods are prohibited.
  • Wildlife/animal sales or protected animal products are prohibited.
  • Food/perishable items and used undergarments/personal hygiene-sensitive items are not allowed.
9. Listing Approval and Communication Policy
  • After a user submits a post, review and approval may take approximately 3-6 hours.
  • Approved posts are notified through email.
  • If a post is rejected, rejection updates may not be shared through email or any other channel.
  • For listing/payment queries, students should contact support on WhatsApp or email.
  • For faster support, share pincode, college name, and registered email ID in your message.
  • Students are requested to use college email ID only for listing-related communication.
  • Once payment is completed, it will not be refunded.
